About Challenges

Challenges give you a fun, goal-driven way to stay active on MissionPeak — set a target, track your progress, and see how you stack up, on your own or with others.

What is a Challenge?

A Challenge is a fitness or activity goal you take on over a set period of time — like a distance, step count, or activity streak. Challenges come in two forms:

  1. Independent Challenges — personal goals you set and track on your own.
  2. Community Challenges — hosted under a Community, so members can join, track progress together, and compare results.

Key Features of Challenges

  1. Independent or Community-hosted
    • Start a personal Challenge, or join one hosted by a Community you're part of.
  2. Goal types
    • Track distance, activity count, or streaks, depending on the Challenge.
    • Progress can come from activity recorded directly in the app or synced through a connected service. See About Records and About Devices & Services.
  3. Progress tracking
    • See your own progress update as you log qualifying activities.
  4. Group participation
    • Community Challenges let members see how the group is progressing together.

  1. Tap the "+" menu in the app.
  2. Select Challenge.
  3. Choose whether it's independent or hosted under a Community you manage.
  4. Set the goal type, target, and duration.
  5. Publish so others can join (if hosted under a Community).
