About Devices & Services
Connect MissionPeak to the health and fitness services you already use. Connecting is optional for general app use, but required to participate in Challenges.
What is Devices & Services?
Devices & Services is where you manage connections between MissionPeak and outside health platforms. Once connected, MissionPeak can import workouts from other apps and export your published activity records back to the health platform you use.
Supported integrations:
- Apple Health (iOS)
- Google Health Connect (Android)
For a full list of data types and why each is used, open the platform page above or tap Read full details on our Resource Center on the connect screen in the app.
What connected data is used for
- Activity Recording — import workouts from other fitness apps; export MissionPeak recorded activities after you publish them.
- Challenges — requires Apple Health (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android). MissionPeak uses synced health data to track Challenge progress.
- Calorie estimates — profile weight and height (entered manually or imported on Edit Profile) help improve calorie estimates for published records.
Connecting a Service
- Go to Settings > Devices & Services.
- Select Apple Health or Google Health Connect.
- Read the summary on the connect screen. Tap Read full details on our Resource Center for the full data-access list.
- Tap Connect and grant the requested permissions in the system prompt.
- Choose which data types to share with MissionPeak in the Apple Health or Health Connect permission UI.
Managing or disconnecting a Service
- Revisit Settings > Devices & Services any time to review what's connected.
- Disconnect a service to stop new data from syncing. Previously imported activity and Challenge progress isn't removed automatically.
- You can also manage MissionPeak's permissions directly from the Apple Health or Google Health Connect app.
Why connect a Service?
- Skip manual entry — activity you've already recorded elsewhere counts automatically.
- Export published MissionPeak activity records to Apple Health or Health Connect.
- Keep Challenge progress up to date across the apps you already use.
- Choose exactly which data types to share in your device's health permission settings.
