About Messages
Messages let you talk directly with other MissionPeak users — to catch up with a Connection, coordinate a Huddle or Carpool, or join a topic-based discussion inside a Community.
What are Messages?
Messages are how MissionPeak users communicate with each other. They come in a few forms:
- Direct messages — a private, one-on-one conversation between you and another user, similar to any messaging app.
- Group messages — a conversation with multiple friends at once, for chatting as a group outside of any specific Huddle, Carpool, or Community.
- Carpool messages — a conversation tied to a specific Carpool, so the driver and riders can coordinate pickup points, timing, and other details.
- Huddle messages — a conversation tied to a specific Huddle, so participants can plan logistics, share updates, and coordinate before and during the event.
- Community messages — topic-based conversations within a Community, letting members discuss specific subjects rather than one continuous group chat.
