Changing Your Username or Date of Birth

To keep MissionPeak safe and trustworthy for everyone, usernames and dates of birth cannot be changed directly from the app or website. This helps us maintain accurate identity records and prevent misuse of the platform.

Why These Fields Are Locked​

  • Username is used as a stable identifier across your profile, posts, huddles, and connections. Allowing frequent changes could cause confusion or be used to impersonate other members.
  • Date of birth is used to verify age-appropriate access to certain features. It's locked to prevent users from altering it to bypass age restrictions.

Requesting a Date of Birth Correction​

If your date of birth was entered incorrectly during sign-up, we can correct it — but we need to verify your identity first.

To request a correction:

  • Email our support team at support@siddhatek.com with the subject line "Date of Birth Correction Request".
  • Attach a clear photo or scan of a government-issued photo ID (such as a passport, driver's license, or national ID card) that shows your correct date of birth.
  • Include the email address or username associated with your MissionPeak account.

Make sure your ID is clearly legible and matches the name on your MissionPeak account. Requests without valid proof cannot be processed.

Our team will review your request, verify the document, and update your date of birth once confirmed.

Requesting a Username Change​

Username changes are not available through self-service. If you believe there is an exceptional reason your username needs to change (for example, impersonation or a safety concern), contact our support team at support@siddhatek.com with details, and we'll review it on a case-by-case basis.

How We Handle Your ID​

Any identity document you share with us is used only to verify your request and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It is not shared publicly or displayed on your profile.
